OUT-OF-REACH WISHLIST
As a good fashion enthusiast and recovering shopaholic, I brace myself every year for the chaos of seasonal wardrobe changes. I know—we’re barely into February, and no one is thinking about their spring/summer wardrobe yet. No one, except me.
That’s why, ahead of time, I’ve been plotting what I’d love to wear come June. Since I recently decluttered my closet (more of that in another post) and swapped in my winter essentials, I figured it was the perfect moment to dream up this out-of-reach wishlist. It's also a chance to share my thoughts on how to approach SS25 fashion.
Now, let’s be real. Before every seasonal closet switch, I tend to forget just how much I already own. And like any completely rational person, I sometimes justify a small shopping spree, just to feel "ready" for the fresh start.
Typically, I stick to Vinted or second-hand shops—because sustainability is key. Occasionally, I allow myself a tiny indulgence when I find something that feels too perfect. But I try to avoid splurging on those out-of-reach items I know I don’t need.
Here’s the fun part. For you (and definitely not because I wanted an excuse to window shop), I’ve put together a dreamy list of SS25 pieces. If these are within your budget, I’m rooting for you to go after them—you deserve it. And if not, hey, let’s both admire from afar.
At the very top of my wishlist? An incredibly simple but perfectly crafted basic shirt, made from high-quality cotton, or a cozy knit that feels like it could wrap me up and shield me from all my problems.
For bottoms, we’re talking about those perfect trousers that make you feel like you’ve got your life together. They’re effortlessly elegant and somehow look like they could double as work-from-home pajamas.
Jackets are where the magic happens in the spring, and the temptation is very real. A Miu Miu leather jacket. Classic, timeless, and guaranteed to elevate even your most basic outfits. It’s the "main character" of outerwear, and every time I see one, I can’t help but sigh a little.
And the rest? Well, it doesn’t really need an explanation.
