ANDREA'S FASHION INSIGHTS
I remember six years ago when I had just arrived to Barcelona and wanted to meet Andrea. She had always been a friend of my closest friends, but despite my small attempts to meet her—mostly at other people’s birthdays. We couldn’t actually bond. I never felt excluded, though. Later, I got to know her and realized she’s just very reserved and, above all, thoughtful about whom she lets into her personal life.
After years of only chit-chatting at birthdays, Andrea and I started working together, I’d say, around two years ago. That was when I got to know her more closely and understood I wasn’t wrong about wanting to connect with her. Despite being very different in many ways, I’d say we connect in aspects that allow us to get along pretty easily.
We are both Virgo, share passion for second hand clothing and fashion in general. Food – which is one of her greastest fashion and enjoy life above all other activities.
In terms of fashion, Andrea is a truly complete and multidisciplinary artist. Nowadays, she runs a carefully curated second-hand shop with her boyfriend, Carlos. It’s called xsiempre, and it was born from the idea of creating something together and sharing their sense of fashion, creativity, and expression by materializing an idea. There, you can find incredibly nice pieces and highly selected styles.
She’s a stylist, a producer—when needed—a textile printer, which I believe is her greatest passion, and someone who is more attentive to details than anyone I’ve ever seen before.
Andrea cares about making you feel special with small, carefully thought-out details and enjoys it just as much as you do. Along with her incredible—but also slightly terrifying—ability to organize her life and everything she has to do, her incredibly silly sense of humor, and her unwavering presence when needed, I’d say those are my favorite characteristics about her.

When it comes to her personal style, she never disappoints, as she sees every occasion as a perfect opportunity to showcase her most authentic style without needing to follow any particular trend. Second-hand pieces are what you’ll always find her wearing, and each one will always have something special added to it—whether in terms of material, silhouette, color, or accessories.
Her style is mostly effortless—that perfect essence of looking like you just threw on the first thing in your wardrobe and still looked great. But in reality, it wasn’t like that at all. Small details make all the difference for her.
